Futurama: The Game
Unique Development Studios / Vivendi
Futurama is based on Matt Groening's popular series of the same name. The game was built with Gamebryo for the Xbox and the PS2. Because the game was released after the series ended, some have called the game a "lost episode."
Customer Quotes
"Along with the television show synergy, Futurama utilizes [Emergent's] Gamebryo 3D graphics engine and toolkit to enhance the game’s style of 3D cartooning. Gamebryo's flexible framework provided the development team with what it needed for this project. The technology plugged right into the production pipeline and easily allowed custom features, content and gameplay to be added."

From an interview with lead designer Mark McGinlay in Computer & Video Games:
Q: Which part of the development process are you most proud of so far?
A: I think the pre-alpha phase of the project was the most exciting. This was mainly due to the fast turnaround time for things to go from the artists and programmers into the game. It was really fun to see the game taking shape and come to life in such a short amount of time.
